How to use Olaplex 3

Olaplex 3

If you know about hair, the chances are you will have heard about Olaplex. Their infamous products were once a salon secret, but have now become a beauty fanatics favourite! Our blog will run through how to use Olaplex no. 3 to get your hair looking salon fresh at home.

What is Olaplex 3?

Unlike an Olaplex conditioner, this product is a weekly treatment. It strengthens your hair from root-to-tip, reducing breakage and bringing its shine back. With PH balance science, this product has proven to give you 68% more repair and hair that is 3 times stronger than a standard treatment.

We particularly love this product because it’s suitable for all hair types! Whether you have colour treated, oily, dry or damaged hair – this product will give you a salon-finish shine from the comfort of your own shower.

How do I use Olaplex 3?

Onto the important bit, how to use the product. Dampen your hair first (we recommend using Olaplex 0 Bond Treatment to really see results), then towel dry your hair so it’s not dripping wet and apply the product from the roots to the ends of your hair. If the ends of your hair are particularly damaged, apply a bit extra!

Once applied, comb through your hair gently and leave for a minimum of 10 minutes. Once 10 minutes (or more, depending on how much your hair is damaged) is up, follow your normal shampoo and conditioner routine. Use Olaplex shampoo and conditioner (no 4 and no 5) to really see that salon shine!
