Get Out of the Sun
It may seem like a no-brainer to suggesting taking a break from the sun, but you’d be surprised by how many people persevere with their sun worship even after being badly burned. Multiple sunburns will increase your risk of skin cancer exponentially, so it’s really important to give your skin a bit of R&R after a burn.
Drink Plenty of Water
Sunburn and dehydration go hand in hand, so there’s a good chance that you’ll need to top up your fluids if you’ve had a burn. Skin which is frazzled will be severely lacking in moisture so it’s important to stay hydrated in order to give your skin what it needs to begin the healing process.
Aftersun
Replenishing moisture is really important after sunburn, and opting for an aftersun with soothing ingredients such as camomile or aloe vera could really help to calm your skin, relieve the sting and help it to heal.
