Every now and again, we add new products to our shelves, products that we feel really excited about sharing with our customers. This week, the products all come from Dermalogica and are from the Age Bright range.
The Age Bright range is designed with two very specific purposes in mind – to clear breakouts in ageing skin and offer anti-ageing properties. Most breakout clearing products are aimed at teenage skin, making them unsuitable for women dealing with adult acne. Adult acne is becoming more and more common, with causes ranging from hormone changes to lifestyle to an increase in pollution, so finding products which can help to deal with both issues is very tricky.
Clay masks are great for clearing excess sebum, but are usually too heavy for ageing skin, which is often dehydrated and dry. This masque from Dermalogica is made from absorbing clays which help detoxify skin, as well as Salicylic Acid which clears pore congestion. Calming botanicals such as oat and bisabolol help soothe aggravation brought on by breakouts. Safflower Oil helps counter fine dehydration lines.
This product from Dermalogica is designed to help you to deal with breakouts by acting as a topical treatment that reduces the appearance of active breakouts and post-breakout marks. It contains salicylic acid, which works to clear breakouts, while niacinamide and hexylresorcinol work synergistically to fade post-breakout marks, improving uneven skin tone.
This two in one serum from Dermalogica has two very different jobs – first, it clears and helps prevent breakouts while its second job is to reduce the visible signs of ageing. This highly-concentrated serum exfoliates to help prevent breakouts and accelerates cell turnover to reduce signs of skin aging. It works with the skin’s natural microbiome for clearer, brighter skin. It contains no artificial fragrances and colours and can be used under your recommended Dermalogica moisturiser twice a day, as needed.
