UpCircle Brand Focus

Back in 2015, the founders of UpCircle had a thought: if we’re all throwing away a cafetière full of coffee grounds every morning, how much is going to waste from coffee shops all over London?

So they decided to do something about it. UpCircle was born through the idea of giving those used coffee grounds a new lease of life.

The company began their journey by collecting coffee grounds from just one coffee shop. Now they collect from hundreds of coffee houses across London.

Creating a positive environmental impact is at the heart of what they do at UpCircle. The company wants to leave the world better than we all found it. UpCircle, tries to focus on positive change and keeping the environment clean and sustained, with a “every little helps” mentality.

And as well as being 100% natural, their skincare range is cruelty-free.

They also boast a “refill” scheme. Where you can buy selected products of theirs that are in slightly different packaging. Use it up, wash it out, dry it, and return it to their head-office for 20% off your next refill order. Personally, I love this idea, because it ties in with their whole ethos of recycling and reusing things to help out our planet.

One of my skincare favourites from UpCircle is the Eye Cream with Maple and Coffee. It is a daily eye cream that helps to brighten and plump the eye area. Suitable for all skin types, this gentle eye cream contains Maple Bark extract and antioxidant rich coffee oil to soothe and brighten the eye area, whilst Hyaluronic acid boosts hydration helping to reduce fine lines. I have used this every day for about 2 months now, and have seen a difference already. Any eye cream with coffee in it (as it draws out toxins and dark circles) is a must-have for me.

I also love their Green Mint and Lemongrass Hand Wash. It is a natural, refreshing wash that leaves hands clean without drying your skin. This alcohol-free hand wash contains Peppermint and Lemongrass oil for a zesty, uplifting citrus fragrance. In our client bathroom at our salon, we often use the handwashes that we sell here, and I know this was a favourite of many clients.

Finally, they don’t just offer skincare products. One of their nifty gadgets is the Tube Squeeze Key. The Tube Squeeze Key will help you make the most of your UpCircle skincare and create less product waste. This multi-functional tool will help you get every last drop of your product out of the tube. It can be used on different types of packaging, even toothpaste!

So, if you love coffee (as much as I do) and wanting to give the planet a helping hand, then consider investing in UpCircle and their skincare line. It smells and feels amazing, and gives you wonderful results.
