Product Focus – Dermalogica Super Rich Repair

Dermalogica Super Rich RepairAs you know if you’re a regular here at Pure Beauty, we sometimes like to take a single product and dedicate a whole page to shining a light on its virtues. This time, it’s the turn of Dermalogica Super Rich Repair, a cream from Dermalogica which many of our customers describe as a “miracle in a bottle”. So, what is this little miracle and who’s it designed for? Read on to get the full low-down:

What does it do?

Super Rich Repair does exactly what it says on the bottle – it’s a super rich, concentrated cream which intensively moisturises and repairs chronically dry and prematurely ageing skin. It has a heavy-weight texture which melts into the skin and replenishes moisture from within, leaving skin looking hydrated, plumper and more youthful.

Who’s it for?

Anyone who suffers with very dry skin, or skin which is suffering from the signs of ageing. If you’re dealing with dryness, tightness, crows feet, fine lines, wrinkles or a crinkly lip-line, then this is definitely the product for you.

What’s in it?

It’s made from a base of thick shea butter, and enriched with evening primrose oil, which is rich in vitamin E. It also contains hyaluronic acid, which helps your skin to retain moisture on a cellular level, improving your skin’s own ability to regulate moisture levels. A number of different oligopeptides which help to improve skin elasticity and tone while fighting the appearance of fine lines. Finally, a rich blend of plant-based lipids from borage seed oil, jojoba seed oil, coconut oil and tocopheryl acetate helps reduce trans-epidermal water loss and prohibit potentially irritating environmental pollutants from entering the skin.

How do I use it?

It’s best used in to morning before applying a sunscreen to your face to prevent further drying from sun damage and can also be mixed with a small amount of Dermalogica MAP-15 Regenerator for added benefits.

How much does it cost?

The original price for this product on the Pure Beauty site was £69.50, however you can currently pick it up for just £52.10 – a bargain given how powerful this product really is!
